Built from a sharp idea,
then made to be felt.

Mara Voss is an independent designer and image-maker working across identity, editorial and cultural projects. The studio brings concept, art direction and production into one close conversation.

Each collaboration starts by finding the tension worth keeping—between order and accident, the useful and the strange, what a thing says and how it lands.

01What kind of projects do you take on?

Identity systems, art direction, editorial commissions and image-led digital experiences. Projects can begin from a blank page or a precise visual brief.

02Do you work with clients outside Berlin?

Yes. Most collaborations run remotely, with travel scheduled for workshops, shoots and installation days when the project needs it.

03What is a typical project timeline?

Focused commissions usually take four to eight weeks. Larger identities and campaign systems are planned over two to four months.

04Can you join an existing creative team?

Yes. The studio often partners with agencies, architects, writers and in-house teams for art direction, image-making and final production.
